PermS2 Flux tower at City of Toledo Water Intake crib. Western Basin, Lake Erie Tower maintanence supervisor (September, 2011- ) Michael Deal 1 September 2011 - Above water sensors mounted and program started. CSAT3, Li7500A, HMP45C, TE525, Li190, RM5305 all installed and working properly - Water height to Li7500A 16.5 m 14 September 2011 - Program updated (Lake_Erie_crib_3_2.cr3) with new PAR sensor calibration code. - Value for CSAT asmuith changed in logger (from 0 to 110 degrees) 1 December 2011 -Last trip of year to intake crib - Water height to Li7500A 14.6 m 2013 30 MAy 2013 -12:00 changed the new calibrated LI7500A. HMP,TE525, Young not mounted -checked the azimuth should be 165,but mistake in the program with 110,so all the wind direction data should add 55 untill next time change back. 25 June 2013 -13:00 add YSI worked to 1stJuly, because the other flux and Ts data can not receive properly, uploaded the old program, abrupt the YSI untill 9th July -mount HMP, Young, windspeed 05301 9 July 2013 -mount LI7700 and solar panel -the azimuth secong changed to 180, but still keep program 110, so add 70 from now on. 15 July 2013 -send the new version of program_Lake_Erie_crib_v4.21new20130715, solved the YSI line gap Tom:the data for Dissolved oxygen (column N) doesn't make any sense to me. Also, one of the most important parameters, phycocyanin, which is the pigment associated with harmful algal blooms is missing. Housen:For the weird readings of ODO, logger only receives data output from YSI and assigns them with designated variable name/units. Logger doesn't make any change on the values. The only possible explanation is that we assign wrong variable name/unit to the output data. Pls check the readings and see if any other column makes more sense to you, or we might need to directly connect YSI with handheld panel to figure out the output data structure. 9 july-23 check RH, add irr no4 in 14H, change para 20 Aug -with Housen, add the 4 thermcouple in 0.2, 0.5, 1 and 2m depth. change the HMP to SE measurement. Change the IRRP from 27 to 13 8 Oct -Add CNR4, Add IRT2, Add LI7700 mathan sensor long-term clean part. Cleaned 7500A. 22 Oct -Fix CNR4, check the 7500A settings with right 25 delay, clean 7700 with much bird dirty, add 7700 clean water 29 Oct -Change 7700 clean settings from 8:30-9:20 to 8:30-16:20,check time from 10min to 30 min (auto,SSI20%,start 8:30, stop16:30,repeat 30min,spry10sec).Clean solar panel and 7500. -Disconnect the YSI at 10:00 with Tom 20 Nov -Disconnect the tempture profile(stopped measurement on 6th Nov). Change 7700 clean settings repeat from 30 min to 2hours. 2014 23 May 2014 -Add 7700 clean water; add and put the 4 temperature sensors (0.2/0.5/1/2 m) into outer water;clean LI7500A; clean and level CNR4; -Found that the PAR sensor was fall down by the wind, so check the period by comparing with LI site PAR. 17 Jul 2014 -With Ouyang. Change LI7700 -clear 7500A, cover by bird shit, so the high AGC from July 13, caution to use -Water temperature from 0.2-0.5-1-2 changed to 0.5-1-2-3 5 Aug -With Devon. Add 7700 clean water; maitained the temperature probe in 0.5 m depth
